Leadership Effectiveness Program
Participants nominated by the Operational Leadership Team will have the opportunity to engage and learn from other leaders at Brady, develop the capacity to resolve business issues, target individual development needs and deal with the complexity woven through our business. Participants on this program are interested in growing their career with Brady.
Performance and Career Review
Brady's performance and career review system is an integrated way of managing performance, career and compensation. The system includes:
- The review of an individuals capability to meet business goals, current and future job requirements and taking actions to improve capability and contribution.
- Career Profile: is a one page perspective on the employee; past, present and future.
- Performance Review: is a one page summary of the employees current objectives and performance and the objectives planned for the next fiscal year. These objectives are also known as SMART goals.
Education Assistance
To encourage employees to develop personal and job skills, education assistance is available to full time employees. Reimbursement is dependent upon the level of education sought and the type of institution.

Brady Australia can offer flexible work arrangements to help employees balance work, personal commitments and assist individuals make changes as their needs change. We seek to agree to mutually acceptable flexible work arrangements where the arrangement meets a business need.
Employee Assistance Program
Brady Australia is committed to the health and well being of our employees and as such we are pleased to provide all employees with an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This is a counselling service provided by Brady which is free, voluntary and confidential, to assist our employees deal with personal, family and/or work issues that affect your quality of life.
Through access to qualified counselors you and your family have the opportunity to identify problems and find ways of resolving them. Your EAP is provided by ACCESS Programs, an external service that offers counseling to employees of a number of organisations. All counselors employed by ACCESS Programs are qualified and experienced and employ short-term, solution-focused counseling techniques.
Paid Maternity Leave
Brady Australia is committed to supporting the wellbeing of parents and children to ensure that employees retain industry knowledge, networks and experience. Brady provides all employees who are employed on a permanent basis for a period of 12 months continuous service. Employees may also request an additional 12 months that will be approved according to business needs.
Brady provides 4 weeks at full pay for female employees who are the primary caregiver, adoptive parent or surrogate leaving to go on maternity leave and 1 week full pay for male employees at or after the birth of their child, after 12 months continuous service.
On return from maternity leave female employees will receive an additional 2 weeks at full pay that is linked to a minimum return to work period of six months.

Brady Australia is committed to recognising and rewarding employees who make a valuable contribution to the business. Brady provides Service Awards on an annual basis to those employees who have reached their 5, 10, 15 or even 20 year anniversary. Brady also provides Awards for Employee of the Year, Customer Focus, Safety, Leadership Development and Appreciation.
Remuneration
Brady's goal is to develop, advance and reward those who contribute the most to the Company's success, while also remaining competitive as a corporation and as an employer. Your pay at Brady is based on your performance and how the market compensates people in similar jobs.
Bonuses and Incentives
Brady may from time to time reward performance and the meeting of budgetary/performance requirements by the use of various bonus or incentive schemes. This may include percentage bonus payments or non financial rewards, such as gift vouchers.
Any incentive or bonus schemes will operate at the discretion of Brady, but any scheme which may apply to your position will be explained to you at the time your financial and other objectives are set.

Brady Supporting the Community
Contributing to charities and worthwhile causes is something that Brady takes pride in. Special events give employees a chance to take a break from their roles and participate in something bigger than they are.
In 2009 and 2010 Brady supported the Cancer Council by holding Brady's Biggest Morning Tea. The day consisted of morning tea, the opportunity to dress up and a bbq lunch. In 2010, we raised $2,136 for the cancer Council – our biggest fundraiser yet!!!
Brady also holds Family Days, End of Year Celebrations and regular bbqs to celebrate success.
